These speakers have very good sound quality and they don't take up much room on your desk (obviously the subwoofer needs a spot, preferably on the ground). I have not experienced any buzzing or rattling, the highs and lows are clear, and they can get plenty loud without losing any clarity. As a musician, sound quality is very important to me, and these speakers are great for home use. In terms of ease of use, the system is simply plug-and-play. I gave the features a ranking of 3 only because the volume control (which is a small, round knob that sits separately on your desk) has no labels or markers at all. It would be very helpful to have loud and soft, or numbers 1 through 10 (or eleven, if you catch my drift), or even one of those triangular markings that demonstrates which direction to scroll in order to increasedecrease volume. But that's my only complaint; the system is definitely worth it for the sound quality... and the speakers look cool too.
